Hotel California is the title track from the Eagles’ album of the same name and was released as a single in February 1977. It was written by Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Don Felder. This arrangement is for string quartet, with each of the upper strings taking a turn at the melodic line. The guitar arpeggios are played by the first violin in the beginning, and ends with the viola playing them in a lower register. Score, parts 23 pages.
